The Learning & Development Institute, founded in 1969, is the professional body representing members concerned with Learning and Talent Development in Ireland.
Around 70,000 graduates in Ireland will soon transition from education to the labour force for their first job. They are moving into a jobs market in constant change with a decline in routine tasks and a rise in technology-intensive tasks and digitisation.
Many jobs are becoming “greener” with the move towards more sustainable production and consumption. Social, creative, and caring skills are increasingly important, given the need to communicate with diverse customers, collaborate on work teams and provide care services for an ageing population.
