Learning & DEvelopment Institute's response and reaction to the Government's Budget announcement for 2024
The Learning & Development Institute, founded in 1969, is the professional body representing members concerned with Learning and Talent Development in Ireland.
It was party time at DCU Business School last week as the first cohort of just over 40 learners on the Master’s in Strategic Learning & Development graduated in style.
After two years of hard graft, this group has the distinction of being the first graduates from the only programme of its type in Ireland.
The programme is the product of a partnership between DCU and L&DI, with course development funded by L&D Skillnet.
One of the self-employed graduates Carol Mannion was thrilled to receive her parchment: “What a day as I joined my wonderful class group to graduate.
“The two years went by in the blink of an eye and the lessons were many throughout. The biggest takeaway was the potential that exists for L&D to lead the continued transformation of business and the workplace over the coming years.
