Congratulations to L&D Connect, the network of L&D managers across the Civil Service, who held its inaugural annual conference in The Clock Tower at the Department of Education last month.
The Conference was attended by 60 Civil Service L&D professionals, who support over 50,000 Civil Servants. The network currently has members representing over 35 Civil Service bodies and provides a unique opportunity to explore the latest trends, exchange ideas and strategies aimed at addressing common challenges, and while also building professional expertise.
Bernie McNally, Secretary General of the Department of Education opened the conference, commending the indispensable role of learning and development managers in driving transformation, change and shaping the future of work in the Civil Service and its significance in achieving the objectives under the Civil Service Renewal Strategy 2030.
